  • Sergio, Ainhoa and Copite (the team’s cat) are working in the office when they receive a call from CREDHOS, a human rights organization that PBI accompanies in Barrancabermeja. Before accepting the accompaniment request, Sergio and Ainhoa speak with their team members to assess the risks and how the presence of PBI can provide protection.
  • Ainhoa leaves the PBI house and walks to CREDHOS’ office to communicate in person that the PBI team has accepted its request for accompaniment.
  • Luckily, CREDHOS’ office is quite close Because it is veeeeery hot in Barrancabermeja.
  • The Regional Corporation for the Defence of Human Rights (CREDHOS) is an autonomous non-governmental organisation comprised of citizens of the Magdalena Medio region who represent distinct sectors of civil society.
  • Ainhoa meets with Andres and Larios of CREDHOS to talk about the details of the accompaniment.
  • On the day of the accompaniment, Ainhoa returns back to the CREDHOS office to fetchAndres and Larios.

  • Ainhoa, Andres and Larios arrive at a neighborhood of Barrancabermeja where CREDHOS carries out its work.
  • Ainhoa, Andres and Larios return to the CREDHOS office in a taxi, before sunset. It is important to travel during the day in order to be as visible as possible.
  • Ainhoa and Larios share a smile after a very successful accompaniment.
